MegCell Limited (“MegCell”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the MegCell Form mobile application (“MegCell Form” or the “App”) accesses, uses, processes, and protects information.

1. Information We Collect

MegCell Form does not require users to create an account.

We do not intentionally collect, store, sell, or share personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, or payment information through the App.

2. Files and User Content

MegCell Form may allow you to select images, 3D model files, or other supported files from your device for processing or conversion.

These files are accessed only when you choose them using the device’s file or media selection features.

Unless otherwise clearly stated within the App, selected files and generated output files are processed locally on your device and are not uploaded to MegCell Limited’s servers.

MegCell Limited does not claim ownership of files that you import, create, process, or export using the App.

3. Device Permissions

MegCell Form may request limited device permissions required for its functions, such as:

• Access to files or media selected by the user;
• Permission to save generated files to the device;
• Internet access where required for app-related services, updates, licensing, or external links.

The App only uses permissions for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and within the relevant permission request.

4. Internet and Licensing Services

The App may communicate with MegCell services to perform functions such as software activation, licence verification, version checking, or access to online resources.

When such a connection occurs, limited technical information may be transmitted, such as:

• App version;
• Device or operating-system information;
• Licence or activation information;
• Network request information necessary to complete the service.

This information is used only to provide, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot the relevant service.

5. Advertising and Third-Party Services

MegCell Form may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob.

Google AdMob and its advertising partners may automatically collect or process certain information, including:

• Device identifiers, such as the advertising identifier;
• IP address;
• General device and operating-system information;
• App interactions and advertising performance information;
• Diagnostic and technical information;
• Approximate location inferred from network information, where applicable.

This information may be used to provide, measure, limit, secure, and personalise advertisements, depending on the user’s location, consent choices, device settings, and applicable law.

MegCell Limited does not sell personal information directly. However, advertising providers may process or share limited data according to their own privacy policies.

Users may be provided with privacy choices or consent controls before advertising data is processed where required by law.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell users’ personal information.

We do not share personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Information may be disclosed only where reasonably necessary:

• To provide or secure the App and related services;
• To investigate fraud, abuse, or technical problems;
• To comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or a valid government request;
• To protect the rights, safety, and property of users, MegCell Limited, or others.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information associated with the App.

Where information is transmitted between the App and an online service, we use secure network connections where reasonably available.

However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Files processed locally by the App remain under the user’s control and may be deleted using the App or the device’s file-management features.

Where limited activation, licensing, support, or technical records are retained by MegCell Limited, they are kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the relevant service, maintain security, meet legal obligations, or resolve disputes.

Users may contact us to request information about, correction of, or deletion of personal data held by MegCell Limited, subject to applicable legal requirements.

9. Children’s Privacy

MegCell Form is not designed for children under the age of 13 and is not directed specifically at children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that personal information from a child has been collected without appropriate authorisation, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

10. International Use

MegCell Limited is based in New Zealand. If you use the App from another country, information associated with online services may be processed in New Zealand or in other locations where service providers operate.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, our services, or applicable requirements change.

Any updated version will be published on this page, and the effective date above will be revised.
